Post Just an idea for some runs
So I was thinking, there are quite a few of us who still need the watcher pieces or haven't even seen the inside of DN yet, and since it is easy to get 90-105rad now quite easily at 65 (even though the stats aren't that great), what would you all think of some day, maybe this Sunday (12/27) of tacklin' Watcher or DN? Watcher would probably be the easiest to get a group for; if we have mostly 65ish players wouldn't necessarily need the full 12. I know right off the bat, healers are going to be an issue, but I think our RKs could do a good job healing Watcher if we have a 1min/1rk combo. This way, some of us at least get a chance at some better gear; althought less radiance but that is only really needed in raids now anyways. Btw, DN/Watcher gear is still really the best gear in the game atm, stat-wise outside of possibly the BG stuff, so we would still benefit from these runs.

A second idea was brought up by Cel. It was to have a Battle-Royal at the Kinhouse doing spars with our soldiers; would be only soldier v. soldier. Mel and I did this the other night, and I thought it was kind of funny to watch as my sage dps his herbalist; as Mel put it, it was 'an unstoppable force meets an immovable object'.

Lemme know what you think.

Happy Holidays,
Eao

PS,

This may help to get some people playing again who don't log in much/ever because no one is ever online to do stuff. We'll see what works best for all you guys first though.

i would enjoy beating the watcher at least once but i know for sure the 26th im busy so 27th should be fine. Fin would be helpful if he lvled his minnie time for peer preasure.

Yeah, Watcher is still a fun fight and has great loot for everyone.

I would like to try to get into the habit of running something on a regular basis just to get more people the experience of the difference raids, and give us something to do as a full kin. I know our numbers aren't necessarily the strongest as of late, but this should help to get some people playing a bit more frequently, or at least give something more to those of us who regularly play.

If this time doesn't work for most people just post and we can decide on what time works best for everyone. I just posted 4pm EST on Sunday because that is the time we used to run the Watcher back in the day, and figured it would still be the best time for most people.

Watcher and other major raids are good for Sunday (as we have seen) how about doing minor raids on a week night (like turtle, since fewer people would be needed)?

That sounds like it might work. Could also leave weekdays to like SG and other DG instances too, for other gear and possible 2nd ages. Or even Skirmish Raids during the week; that's something different and can be some fun.
